Mashed Potatoes with Cream Cheese and Sour Cream

The evergreen and one of my kids and my favorite mashed potatoes with cream cheese is relishing, the vibrant and mouth-watering idea to have. The cheese itself is a nourishing, health giving and vigorous food with a rich source of calcium. So, what is your calcium intake source?

Garlic mashed potatoes cream cheese:-

Potatoes is a very good source of potassium and are heart healthy food when used as boiled and mashed with a fresh black pepper seasoning and vegetables like onion and spring onion freshly chopped added. Garlic performs a number of healthy functions in the body. It is said to reduce the risk of heart disease by decreasing total blood cholesterol. Also, the research at Pennsylvania  State University reveals that a compound in garlic, diallyl disulfide (DAS), depresses the growth of colon, lung and skin cancer cells. Here is a detailed recipe for the mouthwatering garlic mashed potatoes cream cheese.

Watch the ingredients:

  • 2 medium size potatoes
  • 4 tablespoons of cream cheese
  • 1 small onion chopped or diced
  • 2 tablespoons spring onion
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 1 clove of finely chopped garlic

Preparation time: 30 minutes

Boiling time: 20 minutes

Procedure:-

  • Peel the potatoes and dice them for boiling and place the potatoes in a deep wok and cover the potatoes with water and let it boil until tender and water is dried.
  • Now when the veg is tender take out in the bowl and mash with fork or masher
  • Now add cream cheese, onion, cream cheese, black pepper, and garlic and mix all the ingredients well and set aside to let the seasoning be blended.
  • Serve with green onion sprinkled at and enjoy the healthy meal.

Homemade Mashed Potatoes with Cream Cheese and Sour Cream:-

This is another a very easy to make mashed potatoes with cream cheese recipe added sour cream. The sour cream is made by adding the bacterial culture to the cream that results in the thickening and souring the cream. The creams add tangy, moisture and creamy taste to the dish. The vibrant flavor and aroma of lemon juice freshly squeezed adds the dish a richness and savor.

Watch the ingredients:-

  • 2 medium size potatoes
  • 4 tablespoons of cream cheese
  • 1 small onion chopped or diced
  • 1 tablespoons parsley chopped
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 4 tablespoons butter at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon salt

Preparation time: 30 minutes

Boiling time: 20 minutes

Procedure:-

  • Peel the potatoes and dice them for boiling and place the potatoes in a deep wok and cover the potatoes with water and salt let it boil until tender and water is dried.
  • Now when the veg is tender take out in the bowl and mash with fork or masher
  • Mix the mashed potatoes with sour cream, cream cheese, butter, black pepper, paprika, onion, and lemon juice. mix them all very well until a pasty texture is generated.
  • Serve with the parsley topped and enjoy the tempting and healthy food with steak of your choice.

Mustard Mashed Potato Recipe:-

Try the recipe mashed potatoes with cream cheese along with the flavor and taste of mustard. You can have the amount of mustard as your choice.

Watch the ingredients:-

  • 3 medium size potatoes
  • 6 tablespoons of cream cheese
  • 1 small onion chopped or diced
  • 1 tablespoons parsley chopped
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 5 tablespoons butter at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 5 tablespoon mustard paste.

Preparation time: 30 minutes

Boiling time: 20 minutes

Procedure:-

  • Boil the potatoes peeled and diced in the water filled wok, dipping the whole of the potatoes and let it boil with salt at medium heat.
  • When the potatoes are tender, dry the water by increasing the flame.
  • Let the boiled potatoes cool down at room temperature
  • Mash them with potato masher or fok till the paste is smooth.
  • Mix in the the butter, paprika, freshly ground black pepper, mustard paste, onion, cream cheese in such a manner that the paste becomes smooth and soft.
  • Now serve the smooth mixture with stir fried peas and carrots.
